Our Junior Coaching scheme started in July  2004 and the number of youngsters attending continues to grow.

We run throughout the year on Sunday afternoons at the Hitchin Boy's School Sports Centre. Sessions run from 1.55pm to 4.55pm (September to June) and 1.55pm to 3.55pm (June to September).

Players have access to 9 tables (maximum) in  an area the size of 2 badminton courts and we can comfortably accommodate 18 youngsters or slightly more if required.

Sessions cost £4 each. After the first two sessions (when we accept cash payment) have been attended, we then move you onto a system of payment in advance for tickets (Minimum purchase per child is 12 tickets (£48) and these tickets have no expiry time (and should your child stop attending you can request to have a refund of any unused session tickets.  A (non-refundable)  Annual membership fee of £12 is also payable (This covers Calendar year January to December).
JUNIOR COACHING (Great Wymondley)
This is managed by Roger Bowler (contact details are on the Contacts page)

These more intensive coaching sessions for selected youngsters are held at our Club hall in Great Wymondley with 3 to 5 youngsters per session attending. (The photo at the head of this page shows one of the most recent sessions in action).

From September 2018 we will be running as many sessions as possible, dependant upon coaching staff availability and venue availability.

The cost per session is £10 per youngster.
The club has three coaches with guest coaches invited from time to time as well as a number of league players who volunteer their services to act as feeders at the coaching sessions held at Hitchin Boys School and Great Wymondley.
We encourage youngsters who are sufficiently talented and interested to aspire to playing competitively in various competitions including North Herts Table Tennis Association League, National Cadet League and National Junior League.
St.Neots TT Centre holds both junior and senior coaching sessions.  The sessions cater for all player standards.

BATTS Table Tennis Club of Harlow also hold various coaching sessions.
